Biography

Marc Atlan is a French-born American creative director based in Los Angeles, California. He conceptualizes and designs perfume bottles & packagings, ad campaigns & catalogues, logos & brand identities, magazine designs as well as store displays, events, installations & TV commercials.

His clients include Comme des Garçons, Helmut Lang, Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Maison Martin Margiela, Cartier, Oliver Stone, Philippe Starck, Christian Dior Couture & Parfums. His current creations include projects for James Perse, Haider Ackermann & Timothée Chalamet.

Marc Atlan has been recognized internationally by more than forty awards including winning a Red Dot, a Gold Pentaward, a Gold One Show, Best Packaging of the Year by I.D. magazine and has received a Best Packaging Design recognition at the European FiFi Awards. He is also the recipient of numerous awards by the Art Directors Club in N.Y. and the D&AD in the U.K.

Atlan was honored by having his work selected as a “Top 10 Design of the Year” by Time magazine, as well as a “Top 5 Design of the Year” by Wallpaper magazine. He has been awarded the prestigious “Product Designer of the Year” title by the Pacific Design Center.

Marc launched his own limited edition fragrance “Petite Mort” and is also a prize-winning photographer working for carefully selected clients.
